My cousin recently was given several guns for his birthday from his grandmother. They are all old and in good condition. He asked me if I would be interested in the Win. 30-30 because he already had 2 in his collection. What would one be worth?

I bought one at a gun show two years ago that was in good condition for $200. It was a newer one though. Depending on how old it is you might be able to get more. Plus, the fact that they are done making them might get you a few more bucks.

So much of value depends on condition. How is the bluing, stock, barrel, etc. It all depends.

I looked at it the other day and the bluing, stock, and pretty much everything about the gun looked pretty good. I was just wandering what would be the floor price and the ceiling price for this gun in "good" condition. Or would is it even be a gun I should want to add to my collection? Your opinions would be appreciated.

I like mine but I tend to like the old look'n western style guns. Reminds me of all those old westerns I use to watch growing up(like the Duke). but to answer your question. I would go to a gun show and walk around and see what everyone else is selling them for. That might give you a better idea. If you don't have one I might keep it since they have stopped production.

You could go to www.gunbroker.com and take a look at similar ones on auction. Then make a fair offer if you want the gun.

a lot depends on the year. I have a Mod. 94 Win 30-30 that ia a Pre 64 model. It is wort about 2 times as much as one that was made after that. Depending on the year and condition I would keep it..

I agree with GREG- I would keep it. My father-in-law gave me his Win 94 in 30-30. It is one of the old style top eject models. I took it in to be checked over & cleaned real well and the gun shop offered me $300.00 BEFORE THEY EVEN CHECKED IT OUT!
