I feed Indian Corn, the deer really seem to like it and stay at the feeder longer......and longer....!

I personally think food is the best attractant. Although where I hunt (bowie & cass co) there is always plenty of acorns and natural browse so the deer don't come to the corn and what not during daylight until late in the season. I've had really good luck with the mineral blocks and deer cane, but they stop hitting that stuff in September. As far as scents go, I have had results using code blue & still steaming doe estrus. Tinks 69 seems to be a favorite, but it has never worked for me. The doe estrus only works during peak rut in an area with the right buck to doe ratio. Once that stuff turns brown and starts smelling like ammonia then its no good. So make sure you don't open the bottle until you are ready to use it as it will only last a few days after opened.

I think the best attractant is the does... find the does & the bucks will come.

have toyed with the attrractants but not much luck with any of them. For cover scents, can't beat a day pile of cow pie

corn or protein pellets... and just a good cover scent! Scent Killer works great....also you can take a little bit of cedar and rub it really good between your fingers and let the cedar release the cedar scent and rub it on your clothes

I have wasted time and money on deer scents. I have done well without them and seem not to do to well with them. I think just common sense and clean hunting clothing (properly washed) will serve you best.

I use fresh natural doe in estrus scent, unless she has a monster buck with her, then I will shot him instead, and not worry about scent.

I have tried many and always come back to Tinks #69.
I think most hunters use too much scent including myself in the past. A single drop goes a long way. IMHO
