The ones that we replace are usually ones that are crooked or have been broken at the bottoms by the lawn mower...but they stick in the ground fine out in the woods. The lights will last most nights unless a real cloudy day (which can happen)...and I like my hat..thanks for watching! I see nothing wrong with your idea, or your hat....
Am I a bow hunter with a rifle problem, or a rifle hunter with a bow problem??? We may never know...

yeah, i just recycle those old snuff cans. I'm gonna buy them anyway, why not put a good use to them. I guess if you wanted to use the entire can, you could nail the bottom half of it to a tree and put a slab of peanut butter or some other scent in it. Just a thought though.

I use the reflective thumb tack from wally world, they work great just push them into a tree to guide me in the dark.
