our dinner bells ring at 4am...and again at 6:15... tends to hold deer in the area.

How do y'all deal with the amount of daylight changing daily? I am getting tired of driving to the lease and changing the feeding twice a week to keep up.

Get a feeder from Diamond Feeders. They automatically adjust for the changing sunrise/sunset. They are digital timers, but are programmed to self adjust. On average they adjust a couple minutes each day...I think. Once I get mine set I never have to mess with the times again. Have one that is 8 or 9 years old and it is working like new.

so you want deer at the feeder when your climbing in the stand??? We use 7 and 7 during DST so 8 & 5 before, that way you usually do not bust deer coming in and you have light to shoot, and not encourage nocturnal feeding.

funny thread...

In the Morning I set my feeder to go off no earlier than the legal shooting time which for November 6th is 6:28am for me.

ok, a question for Mr. Obvious.

My wife swears there is a monster under the sink. And it scares him when she turns the light on and he starts making the loudest growling noise you ever heard. I had her show me, so she went into the kitchen and she flipped the lite switch by the sink and I heard the loudest growling noise you ever heard in your life. And when she flipped it down the growling stopped. She flipped it back on and it started again. flipped it down and it stopped. huh, what kind of monster do you think it is ?

oh, you told Mr. Obvious.

how bout this one

A couple checked into the motel and noticed a nice lamp on the nightstand that had a coin slot. Not knowing what it was , they put in a quarter and turned the light out. All of a sudden the bed started shaking like all hell. He jumped out of bed and turned the lights on but there was no one other than them two in the room. Hum. Well he laid back down and put in another quarter and turned the light off. Again the bed started shaking violently. What do think it was ?

feeders aren't real close to the stands and we are set-up to be able to climb into the stands w/o them knowing we are there.

10pointdoe,

learn to have thick skin, you posted a retarded question and people didn't pull punches. Enough with these stupid riddles (magic fingers by the way). Accept you asked a dumb question, everyone had a laugh now let's move on.
