Pretty good idea.

I am using the driveway reflectors that you stick in the ground and they are 2-3 feet tall when in the ground. We will see how it works.

I use the reflective tacks that you stick into trees.
1 tack means keep going straight
2 tacks mean turn right
3 tacks mean go left
then i use a blue driveway reflector to mark the blind itself.

Do those solar lights last all night? I'm up before daylight most mornings and my neighbor's lights never have lasted that long.

I got blasted by my buds this year when I put out a couple of solar lights. I even have one on my blind right above the door. I think I will send them that link.

I use old grizzly mint snuff can lids. Keep em during the year, wash them, put a piece of reflector tape on them, dip them in scent killer, nail em to a tree, and there you go.

Well, what I mean by that, sir, is... if you was to put me and this here sniper rifle anywhere up to and including one mile of Adolf Hitler with a clear line of sight, sir... pack your bags, fellas, war's over. Amen.--SPR[image]

i wouldt say its a great tip.
1 he says that he has to replace a few around the house, so there broke right? so i guess you would have to buy some for the house and the lease. next what if the lights go out on one of them or coons tear them up??? most hunter walk the same path all the time to the blind so there no getting lost. imo alot od work for a simple soluition. tape or tacs

I thought getting lost on the way to the blind was half the fun?? confused2

Hehe, once I've walked to a new stand location once or twice in the dark I'm usually good to go. I have; however, been heading to a tower blind I hadn't hunted in awhile that was setup at least 150 yards from the feeder.. I was shining my light trying to figure out where the hell I was then boom, ran into the fence, 10 ft from the feeder.. I was a little off.

There you go.

The ones that we replace are usually ones that are crooked or have been broken at the bottoms by the lawn mower...but they stick in the ground fine out in the woods. The lights will last most nights unless a real cloudy day (which can happen)...and I like my hat..thanks for watching!

the reflective tape last more than one year, normally can be viewed from any direction, nice when you drift off line, also its near invisible during the day time, the orange tape leaves a nice trail for thieves and if public land a path for someone to find your spot
