We were at the Hewitt Gun Shop and I was looking at a rifle when the guy there made me a offer. My wife said get it and put a scope on it and it can be your Christmas present just alittle early. The rifle is a Browning A-Bolt Medillion in 7mm Remingtom Mag. The scope is a Leopold III 4.5x14 by 40. What a wife.

Good for you. I really like those A-bolts. Now, you are going to have to return the favor!

Hold onto her.

Or be careful.

She may have a thing or two of her own to get for "Christmas". laugh

Sounds like she's a keeper. Great rifle too. It's hard to beat those Browning A-Bolts.

Headed to the range to site it in and pop a couple through my .270. Thanks for all the nice comments. My wife is great to me and I will return the favor.

I've got the exast same setup Skip. My favorite gun. Do yourself a favor though. If it has the BOSS on it, never, never, never shoot it without ear protection. I did mine one time when a buck stepped out and I forgot to put the earplugs in. ears rang for a day and the headache lasted several hours.

You're gonna love that rig.

+1 on the BOSS. I have since changed out the BOSS for the BOSS CR after I forgot to put the muffs back on.

Well I just got back from the range where I sighted it in. It is one sweet shooting gun. Not sure if it came with the Boss. It wasn't on the gun, but it could still be in the box. I'll check.

We should get a group of THF members together at Centex for a GTT??

+3 on the loud BOSS... the other folks at the shooting range will gripe if they're not wearing ear protection too. I thought I blew my eardrums the first time I fired the gun w/original tube out of a box blind set back in some trees. Seriously, get the CR replacement tube.

I looked in the box but the Boss thing wasn't in it. I don't think I need it and a get together at Cen-ex is K with me. And Cody I lived at Fork for awhile and guided there for a couple'a years.
