I have been going out there alot and I have see alot of deer around cottonwood lake area, also area 34 has an extreme amount of deer in it from what we saw while scouting. Just look for the hardwood tree patchs and you will find alot of deer sign.

Not sure where 34 is since I just have the online map. Have ordered the official map with unit numbers. Plan to hunt in the morning a little by picking a place via satelite and then do some scouting.

Ended up going Sunday afternoon. Completely blind with just the road maps to get me there. Was going to try and get to the cottonwood lake area but couldn't find it off of 2650 and kept finding other units that looked promising so we just picked 1. Did see deer. Had about a 60 yard shot on a small buck that may or may not have been 13". Couldn't tell b/c of darkness. Was still shooting light but neither me or my son could make out the rack so we passed.
