I have a Remington 700 .222 I am trying to figure out when it was manufactured. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've got 2. So I don't really need this one. Trying to come up with a value.

Use this guide to try and establish a date of manufacture. That looks like a pretty nice rifle. If you're going to sell it, be patient. The .222 is a great cartridge, but it doesn't seem to get the respect it deserves. I think it would be interesting to see a competition rifle built and chambered for the .222 using today's machining and techniques...I'll bet it would give the top dogs a run for their money.
