OK, I will try to draw a picture here.
Take 4" PVC cut it so it will be about 6" from the bottom of the feeder leg and about 1' or 1'1/2 from bottom of feeder barrel.
Take feed leg off and slide leg through PVC.
Take a small piece of chain(that little size stuff) about a 1' long.
Screw or bolt chain to the top edge of the PVC and then screw the other end of the chain on the top of the feeder leg or the bottom of the feeder barrel.
Your PVC can not be touching the ground, it has to be loose so it can spin(PVC) in either direction.
Put a large varmit cage around your spinner will also help, between the both, tis should take care your problem.
I hope this helps, if you make it tough on them getting anything to eat, they will move on.
