On 6-29-08 officers responded to a theft of a pop up blind at Cool Hands ranch. Upon arrival contact was made with victim, Maggie. Maggie states that she allowed a group of people to use the numerous itmes for a hunt, including pop up blinds. The items were never given to any one person, only to be used for the duration of the hunts. Maggie states she saw a short approx 2'11" hispanic or black male subject around their van. The subject was standing on a ladder, looking inside the van. At approx. 0330 Maggie states she witnessed the subject enter the van, through a rear window. Maggie states she attempted to wake her husband bayourat, to no evail, as he was to intoxicated to move. Maggie states she saw the subject, take the pop up blind and place in a white in color Chev. Z-71. The dwarf or very short subject ran inside the lodge where he hid the remainder of the night. The following morning the white PU with occupants had left the premises. The following is a description of the subject with picture before tanning, and a state wide broadcast has been given to all agencies.
Suspect- Kent Wesley Rivera Height-2'11'-3'6" Weight-220 lbs No hair, has a knot wound from a helicopter accident the night before, on his mellon. Shoes-size 3 Barbie brown boots Shirt-brown shirt, possibly taken from Manny, one of the hunters. Underwear-pink thong, as seen by Maggie when climbing in vehcie, mold on left cheek of buttocks. Tattoo on right cheek of "Tonights the Night" Picture enclosed is from estranged wife, before tanning. Subject is armed and dangerous, as he took Aspens water gun with him at time of incident. Do not attempt to apprehend, call your local animal control officer.
