Mines pretty simple.
Rub 'em up with Pork rub, Garlic powder, pepper and brown sugar and let them sit in the fridge for about 4 hours. I cooked them in the pit for 3 hours using hickory between 225 and 250 degrees and then cover them with tin foil and let them cook for another 3 hours. Comes out good everytime.
