You are welcome to look at the ones I build on my website. I in short use 2" for the legs (14ga.) and 2.5" (14ga) on the head. The top plate is 10" X 1/4" plate steel. I could do some things cheeper but I still make a few dollars on them and they are built in such a manner that they can withstand almost anthing, which is what I and my customers are looking for. In the long run it is cheeper to do it once. Good Luck
