your VEt tol;d you heartguard would work?sorry but I call  on that. I used to work for a vet ,my uncle is a Vet,My moms neighbor is a vet and I have trained with 2 Vets and I dont know that I have ever heard that just regular heartguard doses would work.
I know dogs arent people but that doesnt mean you should treat them differently,you wouldnt beat your kids so you shouldnt beat your pets.You feed and water your kids so you do same for your pets.Your kids have shelter so should your pets. If your kids are sick and need antibiotics would you just go to feed store and buy them some anti biotics
?Dont think so, I really am not trying to be a ARSE hole but you let this happen so Take care of it the appropriate way and do what your vet says. Sorry again and I know some people dont care the way I do and that doesnt make anyone a bad person I just feel we have an obligation to our pets as they rely on us and are at our mercy.This isnt a personal attack on you as I would say this to anyone.
