That's a good post. I have really only been hunting for 5 years now, I had a free private place to dove hunt in the beginning just north of Dallas I got lucky and stumbled on, that has been develope now, then I did public, that sucked, then I tried a season lease ($125 for the season), that sucked, then last year I did day leases for the first time, found many place west for $25 to $30 a day, and they were real good concidering dove hunting in west texas last season was not very good, but $25 to $30, that is a good price, not much more than a case of beer, and really a drop in the bucket when you consider the overall cost of hunting, shells, gas, accomidations, etc...
