Quote: Also many times an "outfitter" will find where the doves are. Offer farmer say 1000.00 for the right to hunt. He agrees and then the outfitter will turn around and sup lease it for day hunts at say 150.00 a day. So it's like double dipping and the ones that really suffer are the hunters. When I could have went to the same farmer and paid the 1000.00 and got 10 of my buds to pitch in
how is it double dipping? seems like to me the outfitter did his leg work and found a deal, and in turn making some money. With the same amount of leg work you could have had that same place and gotten 10 buddies to pitch in.
hunting is big business, if you can make a buck then i have no problem with you. i am not saying that you should screw people, but if the market around DFW supporst $100 day hunts then good for them. That would not fly around here, thank goodness
