So, I have a few questions. Does anyone know where around Dallas (I'm in Plano) to find pen raised quail? Any recommendations for a 15 month old Brittany that has only tasted quail on the end of fishing line and pointed/flushed killdeer, doves, and robins? Should I start off with having her find a pen full of birds first then move up to releasing a few at a time? In Texas, can you shoot pen raised quail any time of year (outside of the season) like you can in Georgia? If I'm gonna buy 'em and release 'em, I'd also like to grill 'em... Post Extras
