I was on my way out the door this morning and caught a segment on Fox. It was showcasing how Factcheck and I think NBC check, dont have the same answer on some topics that come up in politics. That got me thinking that some people may rely too much on Factcheck and such. I know alot of people on here use Snopes, but what agenda do these sites serve?
I think its pretty bad we cant go to one place and get answers, do we now have to second guess everything? It just bothers me that everyone is pushing there own agenda so hard, that we cant get the real truth anywhere.
I know most people on here are conservative. But is it unreasonable to see how someone could sway to the otherside if they were relying on a typically Democratic station for their news(assuming they had no affiliation before). And we all know we cant trust a politician to tell the truth.
I just dont want to see anymore attack ads or agendas being pushed.
Oh and I want to hear about Obamas college days from his own mouth. Thats really scaring me at this moment

Yup I agree with you on this one. Snoopes is run by a husband and wife team. Their information comes from the same news the rest of us get. I posted a link to their website last weekend that explains this.( That was in their own words, not mine) So why does everybody take what snoopes has to say as being right???????????????????????????????

trouble would begin. It's never a good idea
to get all your information or opinion pieces
from a single source.
Except of course when it's a pm to Mr. Fish.

I agree, I get my news from alot of places but Im sick of having to double check every bit of information I come across.
