Usually this means its a smaller animal and not quite a trophy. Most ranches buy stockers like yearlings or two year olds and let them out on the place. 2-4 years later they are big enough for hunting. The younger the animal is, usually the better it is to adapting to the place and surviving. Which is another reason why ranches buy 1-2 year olds for stockers on a ranch rather than buying trophy animals which are typically 4-6 years old. In this case, it sounds like its a trophy aoudad that is being sold. I guess what threw me off was the fact that they are 30"+ aoudads. That's a pretty big sheep whether it's in a high fence or not. You will need to come dart and pick up yourself. If you want to hunt them, they are trophy caliber animals.
