Wish me luck I'm headed out to see if I can get an axis with the new bow. Went two weeks ago and all I saw was cows including the one that decided to start chewing on my DB while I was in it. O... and chiggers got a bunch of them.

Good luck with the axis and the chiggers! I was out last weekend and got tore up by them...and stepped in bullnettle to top it off!

Will take the chiggers anyday over bullnettle. Bleach bath will handle the chiggers.

Saw two axis does and they never got with in 60 yards of me, not to mention the chiggars seems to be highly resitant to Deet. 
But I had a fawn almost put her head in my blind that alone was worth the chiggars and heat.
