has anyone found the fool proof deer feeder yet? I have spent 4-5 hours each of my last 3 trips to my lease fixin feeders. No more cheap feeders for me…

www.bossbuck.com. Neither fool proof or water proof, but about as close as you can get.

No issues with our two Monarchs. Been running 4+ years now and no battery change. We have the platforms with ladders so no need to carry one or build a gate in your pen for a pick up to stand on. Looks like prices have gone up $160 per feeder since we bought ours! Our dang blinds have gone up $480 in 4 years!!! Holy cow these aren't cheap anymore.

I have been running ontime feeders for the last 12 to 15 years. Nothing is completely foolproof but I have have very good luck with them.

I wouldn’t hesitate to use any of the aforementioned feeders
I’ve had good luck with 12v solar charger HCR feeders, I’ve never had wet or moldy corn, never replaced any part of one.
I had one (used age unkown) fall off a trailer on hwy 281 due to a poorly tied knot (I didn’t tie it), a tractor trailer hit it slightly smushing it then launching it about 120 yards off into the weeds. After beating the plastic barrel somewhat back in shape it has been in operation in Blanco County for the last 4 years with no further repairs.
I sold a 8 year old HCR to a good friend 2 years ago; it’s still throwing corn twice a day during season and once per day off season on its third battery.
Fool proof? very close.

There is no such thing as a fool proof deer feeder, they all break, I know. Your answer is this thing called a deer feeder helper; you can change your timers in 2-3 minutes. You spent 12-15 hours working when it could have taking you only 6 minutes.

I'll 2nd the All-Seasons. I have one that's been running non-stop for 5 years on the original battery. Jinxed myself, next time I go, it'll be dead!!!

I'll 3rd the All Seasons Feeders, as long as you have a good feeding pen around it to keep the deer out, the varmint cage for it keeps out everything else.

i am currently looking at the diamond, lamco and all seasons feeders. the directional feeder from diamond and all seasons looks to be great. can use any feed in it - including protein. (not having to climb a ladder and be able to shoot out protein is a huge plus)
