I am doing a cookoff on the fourth. I am participating in the exotic category, and I want to do Rattlesnake. I live in the Temple/Belton area and I need to procure some snake! Can anyone be of assistance? Thanks.

I would love to help ya'll out.
I have several friends that have freezers stocked with snakes....however 'cause of ya'lls law on timbers...they have to stay on this side of the Red.
I'll keep my eyes open for any legal snakes i could send.

HEB Central Market has them in the exotic frozen meats section. Although a 2lb snake was about $75 if i remember right..
