crazyhorse for pres my [censored] we need uncle ted.He gets the exposure we need.

Hunters do not need either one of us for President.

Hunters and Fishermen need the following things now, and then finding someone to be our representative needs to come later.

1. All, and I do mean ALL of the infighting and bad mouthing between hunters and fishermen needs to stop completely.

2. We need to quit finding frivolous and idiotic arguements, that are only divisive and segregate us into camps, bow hunters are not better than gun hunters, duck hunters are not the only real hunters that there, antler size is not as important as being out in the field hunting, catch and release fishing is fine, but that should not make anyone less of a person if they decide they want some fish to eat, and the list goes on.

3. Getting into meaningless, abusive arguements, simple because you do not agree with someone or they do not agree with you needs to stop and forcefully discouraged on ANY forum. Such arguements achieve nothing, except to further divide people.

The internet, is after all part of the world wide web and none of us have any real idea who all or how many people read the stuff we post.

4. Hunters especially need to realize that just because someone does not hunt, that does not mean that they have a problem with our hunting.

5. No one style or type of hunting is any better or any worse than any other.

I do not support the NRA, but I do support their concept that it is either we all stand together to defend the sport or we all will end up losing that priveledge.

6. Hunting is a PRIVELEDGE, NOT A RIGHT. If we do not start working at it, we will lose it, if it isn't already too late.

7. We all need to keep in mind and concentrate that it is not the anti-hunting forces that we need to worry about, their mind is made up, we as a group need to present a positive, well informed, dedicated, knowledgable, and UNITED front with our common goal to convince that 80% or so majority of voters in the U.S., that hunting is essential to maintain healthy populations of much of our wildlife, both the species we hunt, and those that benifit from the management practices used to help the species we hunt.

You and some others have a problem with me, and some of you have never even met me.

That is your and their deal, and I can't or won't do anything to make you or anyone else like me.

My concern is getting folks that enjoy hunting to start concentrating on the things we have in common and do not want to lose for either ourselves or those that follow us, and get away from the of finding things to dislike or distrust about each other.

I do not like the thought of hunting dying, simply because we don't like a particular person or group of people because they or that person disagrees with us.

Did I miss the part where Old Ted was wanting the NRA President job?

One another note, due to problems with some of the recent post and images of the THF(knot holes in cedar post ---enough said) our next THF Gathering is Black Tie only!
