I hunt 14 miles south of Jourdanton. Hunting is real good on my place but, there are places around here that have been over hunted, over grazed and abused. There are chingos of hogs in our area. Basicly, it depends on what is around you and how this new place and the surrounding places have been hunted. If there are any crops in the general area--you will have hogs. The deer are everywhere. You will fill your freezer but you may not get the big one!! Turkeys if you are near a river or creek are plentiful.

How big will the bucks and does be in this area said there has been a three year management with food strips (plots)
