Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. I moved here from Mississippi due to my job and my passion for the outdoors came with me.
South Texas' reputation regarding deer hunting is known all over the U.S. and beyond. I'm just like any other red-blooded American who loves to hunt. I want in on some of the action.
I read an article on-line that said there are several public hunting places in the Corpus Christi area for deer but no one I've talked to knows where they are. Anyone on here have any advice other than the Texas Parks and Wildlife website?
I'm just looking for places that are not listed on the Texas Parks and Wildlife website.
Thanks!!

Not quite sure of those public hunting areas, but check these agencies out:
National Park Service - http://www.nps.gov/archive/bith/TXNP.htm
U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Wildlife Refuges - http://www.fws.gov/refuges/profiles/ByState.cfm?state=TX
U.S. Forest Service/National Forests - http://www.fs.fed.us/r8/texas/
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (CORPS) - http://gorp.away.com/gorp/resource/us_nra/ace/tx.htm
Hope this helps...
