Each round is 50 targets.
Additional rounds are $20.

I'll probably take 5 boxes.
I've never shot even 2 boxes in a single day before.

I'll go ahead and bring six boxes I guess. I'm for sure going to shoot an extra round and maybe two. I've shot like 8 boxes in one day before and 18 boxes over 3 days. That was last year right before opening day of dove season...shot 4 rounds of skeet on a Friday, then both Sat and Sunday shot clays out on peoples land.

Hell I shot 4 boxes last saturday. I guess you tend to shoot more rounds when you are shooting triples.

Opening day of dove season I always go through way more shells that I should. I get too excited and shoot at birds that are too high or just take take those low percentage shots just to shoot. I think this year I'll slow that down a lot because the costs of shells are just too high.

I was planning on bringing at least 6 boxes, there will also be the flury game at $20 per play. Every clay you hit you get one ticket for the raffles, so thats pretty cool.

Flury...sweet...I'll for sure run that a couple times. It's a crazy game and you'll be cussing midway through it.

2 man game, i think its 30 clays that are thrown out and you tag team 'em. marc as done it before, said it was a blast. I'll be working that game from 11-12:45

Yeah Flury is fun...now I don't know if it's different at different places but when I've done it in the past it's like Gr said...two people shooting at once...they launch 30 clays from all over in 1 minute.

So pretty much you are looking at 15 clays each in one minute. It gets crazy because after the first reload you start losing track and are just pulling the trigger and don't know you are out of shells.

The best strategy is to figure out the pattern of how the clays come out...and then assign clays to each shooter. Normally that works good for 30 seconds then you have a total breakdown and everything goes to hell.

Me a guy from my Jaycee's club did it together at our skeet tourney last year and got the best score of the day and it was only like 20 of 30 I think. I was out there another time and saw two guys get 22 of 30. It seems like the average score was around 10 or 11...that seems bad but it really is harder than it looks.

Hope somebody takes some pictures. It sounds like I'm missing out on a good time. Oh don't get me wrong. Love the kiddos and the wife, I'll take them to do something today. Might have to fit the wife for a 20Ga 870 and teach the kidds to pull the skeet cord.

LOL, I got all the evil looks last night. We were watching the movie, "Fly Away."

A young girl finds some goose eggs, makes a hatcherie, raise them to young adult, and flies them south. One part of the movie they went over a nice looking bilnd, good spread, anyway, as the hunters began firing, I got looked at. I just smiled.

The best part, wife noticed the bands on these movie geese. So the first time I get a band, my girls are gona want some explaining.

Wait, no the best part, my youngest, still wants to go duck hunting next year with me and Mr Rick, or Mr Ed.

Wish I could have been there too, but needed to spend sometime with the family.

Sorry you didn't get to shoot. TexasEd said he and his daughter had a good time. Maybe next year.

Speaking of shooting, TexasEd won a shotgun at Cabela's. We talked about going shooting in the middle of the week; I'll email everyone see what looks like a good day.

It is incredible, almost want to see if he'd like to go in half on a lottery ticket. Who knows, maybe he is on a streak.

Yea I thought that was you just from seeing your pics on here. I wish I would have said somethin now. That station was pretty tough especially later when the wind picked up.

yeah, the only person that did well at that station all day was a 12 year old kid, he wore it out.

from what I remember there were only 2 groups that I can think of that came through twice, one was a mom, dad and son and the other was a couple of guys....which would have been your group?

Yeah Gr's station gave me the hardest time. The station before that one I got 10 out of 10 then I was brought back down to earth quick and only got 4 out of 10 on his. I can't really figure out why it was so hard really either.

those clays got out there fast, you had to be right on on them and break the first one over that first mesquite tree with a fat lead. If I was able to shoot I could have showed you how it was done.

on station 3 people a lot of people had a hard time with the rabbit

Sucks I didnt even get to shoot station 3...so I just reshot the first station that for me was the other hardest one. Station 5 was easy for me after I watched a guy shot...he was like you have to shoot that first one quick. His advice paid off and I shot 9 of 10 on that station. All in all I got a 34. Your station and the one I shot twice pretty much killed me. All and all it was harder than what I expected.

It was neat how the two courses were different so I'm glad I shot each one.

Yep that was me and my buddy from Dallas. That was the first time i have ever shot a rabbit. I didn't hit any the first time, but I got 3 the second time. Yea the station 5 was pretty easy for me early in the morning, but when we went the second time the wind had picked up and it was pretty tough. Almost like shooting at real ducks. I shot a 30 the first time and a 34 the second.
