saw it a couple weeks ago..Finally they went off the beaten path,away from austin ,and found some places..I cant wait to try some of them...If anybody has been to some of these places let us know what you think..Finally Patricia let her staff do the picks so there would be no more "home cookin" for places..

Try Austin BBQ in Eagle Lake and of course New Zion Baptist BBQ in Huntsville! Both are in Texas Monthly...
 Now on to the new places!

I'm going to Snow's in Lexington as soon as I can. Only open on Saturdays and closes when the meat runs out. I plan on being there before it opens.

They should have spent more time on ALL 50 instead of just a few, not enough pages on the BBQ...too much junk.

I agree. I think they should have that issue totally dedicated to giving us the whole scoop on each BBQ place. Why not? Not only that, but including recipes would also be cool!
