Seeing that you wise ones locked the other thread down, don't do it to this one. What is the best bow on the market, brand wise???? These were the top 5 for 2007, by Bow Digest.

Did you not understand what I posted!!!!??? Pretty easy. I didn't pick em. The choices are there and I advised everyone where they came from. Don't need opions on what YOU want, just pick one and go on. Leave the comments to youself.

Well Ross is no longer around. They were bought out by Bowtech. Bowtech will soon be making the Ross line again in the next few months.
So out of those I would have to pick bowtech.

I read that article was very interesting. I learned a few things that I didn't know about a few of the bows especially Ross. I loved the title..............Top 5 bows that you might as well use for a trotline weight. I hear that Elite will be added to that list very soon..............

Couldn't vote, didn't see the best bow listed. Lets don't make this a WB vs Drop Away tread.

Any discussion of quality bows that does not mention Mathews is not worth doing. They have been ranked as one of the best of a lot of years.

The best bow, in my opinion and definition, is the bow that I can comfortably shoot with confidence to humanely put an arrow into the kill zone of a deer. At this time, that bow happens to be a Bear TR36 that I bought used off of Ebay for $100 as my birthday present.
I am sure that there is a "best bow" if you are a professional target shooter... but since I am just a lowly hunter, who does not care about how my bow shoots at the range, I have found that I don't have to have the latest and greatest Matthews bow to get great results. What really matters is that you get a bow that fits you, that is reasonably well made, that is reasonably quiet, then practice to where you are dang accurate with it. Thats the best bow in my opinion. For those folks who think the "best bow" is a certain brand, I bet you will be shooting a totally different bow in 5 years than you are today.. but my bet is that I will still be shooting mine!

Thank you, thats about the best answer I have had on here, thus far. I don't own any of those bows either. Like I stated before, bowhunter magazine picked em. I knew this was going to turn into a thread about their bows not being on there. Oh well.
