that's funny stuff right there.

I grew up in Leander, but have been gone for many years. The Leander that I knew had an Exxon Station, and a little convenience/ food store on 183 and not much of anything else.

Prolly would get lost if I went back.

the exxon is still there, but that about the only thing that has not changed in the last 15 years. the growth of that whole area is unbelievable. i remember when cedar park was not really even a town, now they have something like 2 5A high schools.

well we ended up having a great time on saturday morning. It was myself, marc, texased and his buddy and hopedale. We ended up loading 3 throws and shooting (or shooting at) triples just about the whole time. We will be doing that again...

Yep, actually 2 of them. My neighbor Chris is a lefty and after shooting Marc and gr_elliot's guns we went to Sportman's Warehouse and they had a lefty model there for him in stock.

Nope, He is a research guy so he has to make sure he is paying a price in line with where it should be. I have a feeling he might get one in the next couple of months. He really liked shooting you and Marc's guns. So did I, but I'm after a Beretta X2.

Yeah those triples were fun. Seems like that was the only way to really add a challenge to it since all the shots were pretty easy trap type shots.

If we had a way to have clays going from right to left or left to right that would make it a lot harder. Maybe we should try that 5 stand next time.

Yeah, I'd be up for a round of 5 stand.

I wonder how the range would feel about us taking a wrench to move the throw angle on the far left and right throwers. We could get some crossing, but the origination point would still be in line with where you were standing.

I bet they wouldnt like you moving them around, they are pretty picky about stuff, as they should be a I guess. i wish I had some land lined up just to bring our own launchers and sit around and drink a beer or two after shooting.

See that's the kind of thing I would just do on my own and then switch it back when we are finished. It's not really a big deal and as far as I'm concerned I'd rather do it and have to say sorry than ask and them say no.

It was a blast, pardon the pun. Look forward to going again.

And yes I may hold out for the Benelli. It is killing me to not just go get the one I saw at Sportsman's SBE II for $1199.00

How does one get that bonus you're about to get?
