I been watching these piglets for about 2mths now and they finally lost there stripes 12 in total. I trapped 9 one busted out of my panels and I had a misfire, the sec one got out right behind the first and I missed, the third got out when I went back for the gear ended up with six total using a marlin .22mag it took a while for the kills to start, I was just making sure they were nice clean shots.

Nice eating size, congrats. Honestly could have done without the video. I don't think my kid would have liked it. I'm not saying that didn't need to happen but you know...JMO

Good job, but depending on your tastes, you may be missing the boat by waiting so long.
Lora and I have been buying the little piglets, ones that will dress out at about 2 1/2 to 3 pounds, that is about 6 or 7 pounds live weight.
After I get them skinned and cleaned up,I cut them up into about 10 pieces.
Then I season up the pieces and coat them in flour and chicken fry them.
Chicken fried oinkerlet is out of this world.

It's a ranch that I work on. And I agree I did wait a little to long but they kept slipping through the trap on a weekly basis, finally I went down and modified the trap so they couldnt get out it worked until I got close to the trap lol o well I will try to get them sooner next time.

Good job, killer.
Don't let anyone tell you that was too graphic. If only they'd seen us kill that boar a few weeks ago...
THAT WAS GRAPHIC!

Good job! That trap must be a pain to move around, but the bracing will not give on any size hog you catch.

When I went out there 3 weeks ago, I told him the reason the trap hadn;t worked was because it was too narrow... he widens it and look what happens...
You guys should have heard killer when he called me telling me about what was in the trap... he was thrilled... LOL
and killer - call me anytime - I'll come out again and kill the crap outta them hawgs with ya!
