Got mine the 1st day. It gobbled several times in the tree, called to it. It flew down, came straight to me. Called softly one time when he was about 200yds away. Came straight to decoy. When he saw it, he went into strut about 100 yds out. At 30 yds he was mine. 10 1/2 inch beard, 1 1/2 and 1 1/4 inch spurs.

OK...must be slow everywhere.
Here's a limbhanger a buddy of mine killed last season. True inch-and-a-halfers.......

Not a turkey, but I'm glad it's dead......just under 6 ft.

Off of two ranches there has been one gobbler killed. May be better this week-end.

I got mine sunday morning,I called once in an area that I knew birds had been in,soon as i called a hen answered, before i could get my mask on she was right there and busted me,so i called again and a gobbler answered and he was only about 40 yds away,so I sat down made one more call,2 toms came from behind some brush at this time they were 25 yds away, soon as the one in front cleared i shot and the rest is history, this whole deal happened in a matter of 25 minutes.one of the best turkey hunts I've ever had.
