      #439794 - 06/11/08 05:33 PM

I played with a SOG knife the other day and was impressed with the opening mechanism, much like an automatic switch blade ease. Any body know how the hold and edge and durability? pro , cons. They arent the cheapest

I have one and really like it. I think it holds the edge just fine and is not very difficult to sharpen either. And the opening mechanism is very nice.

I have the X-Ray Vision & X-Ray Vision Mini.
holding a edge and durability is A+. sharpest knife you can ever buy. The Arc-Lock far surpasses conventional lock strength, tested at over 1000 lbs of force measured at the lock in an independent lab test [Per SOG]

I used a SOG all last season. Sharpened easily and was completly dependable. I wouldn't trade it for any other knife I'm aware of.
