Texas Hunting Forum: PLEASE READ - guidelines for buying and selling

1. If you don’t agree with a price, you can email an offer. Don’t haggle on the forum or chastise someone because you think they have an item priced too high.

2. Once you post an item for sale, please keep an eye on it and respond to those interested.

3. If your item has sold, please post that it is no longer available or ask for it to be removed.

4. The THF does not endorse the sellers in any way. If you have a serious problem, we will do all we can to help you, but keep in mind, this is a public forum and you need to practice buyer beware. Meeting in person for a transaction is always best. Also, check out the number of posts the member has. If you only see a few posts to their name, you may be the first person involved with a transaction on our site with the seller.

5. Post your experiences on the “Good Guy Report.”

6. Do not post the same item twice.

7. Do not post an item unless you are sure you want to sell it. Do not make an offer unless you are sure you want to buy.

8. If you make arrangements to meet, show up or call the seller or buyer if something comes up and you are not able to make the meeting.
