Some personal friends have agreed to open up their property on a limited basis to the public.
I have hunted this area for years and for the ones in the know, it holds several thousand birds over the winter and can be some of the best waterfowl hunting around. These will be guided hunts on private property and they are limiting the number of booked hunts! Not a mega operation like many outfitters in the area who have maybe one or two hot fields and reserve them for the high rollers and stick everyone else in shot out fields! That is why they limit the numbers, so they can assure the best hunting on any given day. Guides will be either myself or two others that have hunting waterfowl for over 20 years + and know what it takes to get the birds in close! Guides can either make or break a hunt and we have some great ones! Like I said, they are booking now and once they have the spots full, that is IT! I have to give the waterfowl hunts in Haskell Co. a big .I know nothing about the land or pepole TexasHeat speaks of, but I do know the number of birds this area holds.I have hunted it many times and took my Daughter on many scouting trips with a friend of mines guides.If ya Want to see a kill a lot of birds check this out.

will you be day leasing new fields every day?or you have leased a few fields thats the reason for a limited number of people? please send me some info on prices.

Early Teal season is pretty much a done deal and we are looking at a 16 day season. Sept 13 to the 23. We will be running hunts for the early season so if you are wanting to book a hunt, call or email.

Where in Haskell county? Are you the bunch that has the lodge in Weinert? For GOOOOOOD eats in Weinert(or Haskell county besides what you cook yourself), go to the Belfry, sign in town points you to it.

How involved will we be in the hunt? I am fairly new to waterfowl and would like to be involved as I can. What I mean is I dont want to show up, sit down and shoot birds that are pointed out.

Josey, will shoot you a PM with more details. As for being "involved" we got you covered! We cater to new hunters and make it a point to teach not only kill birds! You will learn a ton and have a good time!

Heck I could not BUY a flounder bite! Was able to land one keeper! Now if you wanted hard heads................Also bait was $$$$ Try 18.00 a quart!
