No, but I'm hoping to pick up a blonde....oh wait, that's another story. I can't say what I'm taking so my competition doesn't get a leg up....but no Red Heads this year...although I've been told the gentleman that is competing against me is bringing one. (by the way, I don't compete against other taxidermists....I compete against the bird and nature)

I am glad you feel this way. I also compete against nature, i get really aggravated at those who only want to win to "beat out so-and-so" Good luck at the show, you deserve some blues for those beautiful birds!

Apparently txcornhusker you are refering to my cat considering I have the only other cat posted on this thread. This was my first ever cat and I would welcome any advise you might have to make my future mounts better.

Thanks Ladytaxi. I didn't think it looked that bad at all myself. The picture didn't do it justice. I can say I don't care for that pose at all thats what the customer wanted. Lady taxi you sure do great looking work.

Thanks for all the comments!

I am located in south east oklahoma. But do work for clients nation-wide via Fedex/USPS.

And yes...that is a persons housecat. I have been doing pets on and off for awhile now....i have a schnauser (sp?) dog to preserve for a lady as well. Pet-people (as i call them) are a special breed of customer But i don't mind working with them to get their wishes met.
