Duck hunt
      #277523 - 11/09/07 06:34 PM

I have a spot for two soldiers for a duck hunt. Any two soldiers who have been wounded defending this country is good to roll. No matter the severity. I don't mean any disrespect to soldiers who have not been wounded and wish I could fit each and everyone of you in the boat. But as it turns out I have a group of volunteers backing me for a wounded soldier program. This is no organization or company involved. We are just Americans who want to give back to those who have given so much to us.
Arrive on 11-15-07 and get settled in to your bunk. We are going to sit around the fire through the cocktail hour and have some supper. Wake to coffee and load up in the boats to go hunting. Return for breakfast. Then load up in the fishing boats to go fishing for the afternoon. Then back to camp for Ribeye steaks and more of the cocktail hour. Next day do it all over again. I have room for two more soldiers. If your a father-brother-grandfather-uncle of a soldier and have not been able to go hunting as a result of his wounds then call me. I was at the marsh the other day in a differnet hole than where we are going to hunt and smacked the crap out of them. I left the other two holes alone even though I don't think it will matter. This entire hunt is paid for-food-cabin-boats-shells everything. The only thing you need to get is your license and I would pay for that too but there is no place close to where we are meeting to get it. With the license you will need a WMA license and waterfowl stamps.

What do you say there Treebass. No sir I am nothing special. We just wanted to quit talking about how we are behind the troops. We didn't know what to do so we are going to do what we do best. Smack them birds.

I will get in touch with them and thank you for the information. It will be in the Rockport area. We will be hunting the marsh. If we have water then we will hunt from boats. If no water then we will have to gt out.

Well Hillbilly I sure wish you were headed down here too. I can tell you This won't be the last one but I got to pull this one off first. I am a bit unorganized. Two of three guys had to cancel yesterday and I am scrambling. I will definitely take some photos.

Wayne,
I sent an email out to several people about your hunt. But your emails (wal1890@hughes.net -in user profile) are getting bumped back as user unkown.
