Re: MARLIN M 80 .22 BOLT ACTION

Does the rifle load the shells normally from the clip?

Does the bolt pull the shells, live or fired from the chamber?

If the bolt is feeding the shells from the clip into the chamber, and extracting the shells from the chamber normally, just not ejecting them from the action then the ejector or ejector spring is messed up.

Get on Google.

In the search box, type in Numrich Gun Parts.

When the listing comes up, click on schematics.

A list of firearms will come up.

Go down the list to Marlin and click on it.

A new list with all Marlin firearms will come up.

Go down the list to the Model 80.

Click on the Model 80 and a schematic of the gun will come up.

Click on the schematic to enlarge it.

The ejector is part number 80-13.

Click on the word ejector in the parts list and a picture of the ejector will come on screen.

When the picture of the ejector comes up, look at the action and the bolt and see if that part is in place, missing or broken.

It is listed at $3.70 plus postage and handling, if they have it.

My guess is that it has either dropped out or the part that flips the shell out has broken off.

Re: MARLIN M 80 .22 BOLT ACTION

I hope it helps. Having a non-functioning firearm is a P.I.T.B.. Hope you are able to get the gun working for you.
