youth model 308
I have seen a youth model 308 at Gander mountain and was really interested in the price of it. My question is, isn't a 308 a lot of gun in a youth model? Seems like the recoil would be a killer on this thing. Does anyone have any experience with one of these?

Its probably the most recoil of the youth models. Still not bad depending on who is shooting it. My wife is very small and has a youth 243 and 308. By going with the 308 later on you just have to buy a new stock. Also if there is anyway possible put a limbsaver recoil pad on it and no worries.

My wife shoots a Browning A-Bolt Micro Hunter in 308 and loves it. She will not shoot anything that has a lot recoil, but she has no issues at all with this gun.
