looking for a hunting cart

Something like a mule I think. Would like it to be a 4 seater with a dump bed. Anyone have ideas on price, best kind to buy....ect
Has to be 4x4 as well.

I have recently had the opportunity to ride in a mule 2 wheel drive and got stuck going up a small incline that shouldnt have got stuck. Wasnt impressed, maybe 4x4 is better.
Buddy has an artic cat, didnt get stuck but again not impressed, bad vibration

It probably depends on what you want to spend. Most 4 X 4 UTVs are in the high dollar range. Check out the video and take a good look at these trucks. They are available starting at around $ 12K and you can license them to drive on the highways. The 3 rd truck through has been modified for hunting specifically. The first one through is mine and I use it to feed and hunt.

I have been shopping for a side by side for several months now. I have read on line forms, looked at used ones, talked to anyone and everyone who had an opinion on these things.
I like the Rhino expect for the price. I have found a few used ones for a little less but they still a lot of money. I have been looking at the "Chinos" these are Rhino clones made in China. I read a lot of bad stuff on the China atvs was was pretty scared about these things. I recently found out that the new side by sides have a 1 year parts and labot warrenty (rhino has 6 months). I also joined a form where a bunch of people use ATVs and side by sides to go play in the mud all the time. They love these "Chinos" say that are exactly like the Rhino and hold up well. They take them out every weekend and try to get them stuck so they ride them pretty hard.
I am pretty sure at this point I am going to get a Chino 500 it sells for about $5500.00 here in Dallas.
You will find that anyone who has a Polars or a Rhino or a Mule or what ever will tell you to buy one like theirs. Bottom line do a lot or research and buy what you can afford. They are all not cheap frmo what I have seen

At the risk of becoming a PITA, do yourself a favor and take a serious look at the Pinzgauers. I got mine after my 2 by Polaris left me stranded on a medium incline.
The Pinzgauer 4 X 4 can carry up to 10 people or a one ton load. It will do a 100% grade, has a 45 degree angle of approach and a 45 degree angle of departure. Supposedly it will take a 45 degree sideslope, but I haven't had the guts to try that.
It has an 89 horsepower air cooled motor, portal axles like the Hummer (way before Hummer had them) all the 4 wheel drive is hydraulic which means any speed any gear. And like I said, the best part is you can drive it on the road. Top end is about 65 mph. They get from about 12 to 16 mpg of gas and everday parts (light bulbs filter etc.) are available at NAPA. These things all around are a better deal than the Kubotas, Razers, Gators, you name it.

No they aren't hard to work on. Most of the routine stuff is available at NAPA. I had to replace the voltage regulator on mine. New one was $30.00 from Swiss Army Vehicles in Fayetteville. AR. I ordered some other minor stuff from the guy in California. Both companies got my stuff to me asap. The manuals are good and the thing was designed to be worked on in the field by your average Swiss soldier (whatever that is). I'm not at all mechanical and I'm holding my own on this truck. Everything else goes to the dealer.

No, there is a cooler on the engine for the oil. Just need to check once in awhile to see if there is anything clogging the fins on it.

There is some noise. You don't exactly have to yell to talk to the other person up front with you if you are running down the highway, but you have to speak up. Actually wind noise is the biggest problem, especially heading into the wind. This is higway speed we are talking about now. The noise mostly comes from the top canvas flapping. With the wind you don't have it.
Off road at slower speeds there's still some noise, but nothing that doesn't become background noise once you are used to the truck.
If you are outside the truck and listen it actully sounds more like the old Volkswagon beetle than anything. I found that out last year when it was being inspected. It doesn't seem to bother deer very much.
