Axis arrow question

axis arrows come in three different stiffnesses and there is a chart in the cabelas mag, depening on draw lenght and weight. Here is the question how big of a difference is it goin to make if a shoot 340's instead of the 400's im supposed to shoot?

Reason being is that i have mostly 340's and thoses arrows are expensive lol

Re: Axis arrow question

The spine is the difference. If you shoot to light of a spine it can be real bad (arrow blow up and hurt you). It is ok to shoot to heavy of a spline, it will just slow you down(FPS).
