I used to rip the wings off the breast bone by hand, it always seemed like one wing came off easier than the other, and one wing rippin the breast meat in the process, but shears is the way to go for sure, they snip right off.

No, with my brute strength, they come off as I pull the breast out.

As far as I know I do it like everyone else does but rarely had to snip the wings off.

Grip bird with hand around wings...stick thumb under breast and lift...then twist.
