I don't know about Unit 30 but I hunted the Unit to the East, Unit 31, about four years ago. I shot a 2x2 with a 21" spread, lots of mass. I went there because I had seismographed that area the previous January and seen several big bucks. You wouldn't beleive the size of some of the deer living in that area. You should find allot of deer, concentrate on the creek bottoms. My group drew in unit 36 for the second hunt, Mid-November, I am going to try to concentrate my efforts around Nogal Peak. Has anyone hunted that area, or anywhere in Unit 36 for that matter? We have had allot of success in Unit 37, but I have never hunted 36. |
