Last chance!

Well the last weekend was pretty good, no longbeards but killed a couple of jakes and some cold drinks. The gobblers are still henned up and the jakes are beating the crap outta the gobblers every chance they get!

Ditto that for the Brownwood area. We did see several groups of 3 or 4 gobblers that would answer calls and even break into a strut but then continue along they’re merry way like they had already lost interest. The Jake crop we have this year is VERY plentiful and they are MEANER than normal!

Also hunted the brownwood area, 10 jakes for every mature gobbler. They were not as aggessive though, when they saw my full strutt decoy, they would gobble and run as fast as they could the opposite direction. Must of had there butt kicked a few times.
