was out back shootin my longbow and low and behold look what ran by.....bad mistake. its not a squirrel but it was a long hard hunt. i stalked up on him, waited for the perfect shot, and took him out . it was my first shot at an animal with this longbow, first kill, and first with the arrows i made with handmade arrowheads, so i was pretty excited. it did break the tip off the arrowhead, but i have a couple hundred of em.
****no pink rags were used in these pics.

yeah...i left that part out cause some on here are against shootin farm animals. lil sucka tried to get away after i shot it. he got under the fence into the neighbors yard, but the arrow was still on my side, i grabbed it and pulled him back under, as he was doing him last scream. that would have been fun to explain to the neighbors.

Cool shot...I poked one with my bow last year and thought I was gonna go deaf before the thing finally stopped screaming. Is that one of the tips you found at your place?

It feels good to make a kill with the longbow. I bet youre hooked now, next pic I see from you might be a hog or deer taken with that bow.

He's probably thinking moving up in smaller steps than that - maybe a backyard squirrel is next in line.

Since when did cottontails become "farm animals?" Great shot cuz at my house all they do is eat my garden and the millo! Kill em all!

That is exactly what I thought when I was over there. I told him the feathers made those not the dots!
