Someone had set off a bunch of fireworks within the stump catching it on fire. It had apparently smoldered all night before it was called in. Too much chopping and digging, so we just covered it with foam.

Looks like thats 3 of us Firemen here so far but I work anytime and all times sometime. Strictly Volunteer here in Paducah.

Yep, 24 yrs. Currently at #1 and used to be at #3. I am sure we have worked together at a fire or two.

Yea, remember I had a few days taste of that panhandle firefighting you volunteers deal with. It was fun, but not again, you panhandle guys can keep all that. 
Hey, I may be coming back through that area with the dog during the middle of September on my way back from Colorado Grouse hunting and fly fishing. Any dove or teal prospects in your area that might be worth making a stop for?
