I've never seen one mounted on a rock before. All of mine are on drift wood. I think I will ask for the rock next time.

The rock was actually made my Todd at Birdman Studios. The picture does not do the mount justice. Dang camera, or maybe it's the camera man. I'll take a picture of the Hooded merganser by boy shot in a couple of days.

Very nice mount, knew it was the Huffster soon as I saw it. Looks like he was plumaged out too!

Very nice. Did you shoot that thing or lasso it? No marks visable. Nice touch with the asteroid... rock. I have 4 birds in the freezer still. A drake Bufflehead, a pair of Canvasback's, and the girlfriend's first drake woodie. Sigh..., new mattress or bird mounts? Probably have to wait some more to get 'em mounted.
