I have a 9 month old Vizsla who is tearing up our back door. Any ideas on how I could correct this behavior? Thanks

Mine was doing that and barking at the same time. We put a bark collar on him and it stopped his barking and jumping because he was doing them at the same time. Good Luck!

Mouse traps at the base of the door, or put on the E collar and hide where dog can't see you but you can see it and stimulate with fairly high setting when dog gets close or jumps on the door.

I was about ready to buy an e-collar but the wife didnt like that idea.
Our dog was jumping on our sliding glass door all the time. I used to try to get out to him and whoop him but it just didnt work, he would think its play time. We started leaving the blinds open so he could see us, and if he jumped on the door I would walk over to the door tell him no and turn my back on him. It has worked pretty well, he has just about stopped jumping on the door, he still does in the morning and little bit during the day but when he does he will stop easily.
