As an old man closing it down now with sickness that I will not be able to overcome.I regret only one thing. Those that I hurt through my own selfishness or neglect. Otherwise, it has been a wild ride so far. Prayers sent and positive thoughts sent your way.

I truly have no regrets - have been blessed to be 71 years old and would not change a thing - not saying everything was perfect but when I made mistakes I tried to own up to them and move on - I choose to focus on making each day the best day of my life

…but my biggest regret is that the first time Mike Carraway, my position coach at Lee High School in Baytown, ever hit me during football practice that I didn’t get back up, takeoff my chinstrap, takeoff my helmet and set it down, and just walk away. If I had done that on that day in 1987, I speculate I would be a completely different… And better man today.

My greatest regret was not serving Jesus more when I was younger.now I lean on the everlasting love of Jesus.and I thank Jesus every day for the life he allows me to have.

I never ever had one hit me, but I`ve seen several hit other people and verbally abuse kids way more than necessary back in the 70`s. To this day I don`t have much respect for football coaches for this reason. I know there are good and bad ones, but I can`t get past the sorry ones. HS football coaches don`t deserve the pedestal that people put them on.

Class of ‘99 here. High school coaches were up to the same tricks. Physical and emotional abuse, even giving kids steroids.

I do regret borrowing a rifle in the last day of my moose hunt instead of sticking with the bow.
I succumbed to peer pressure

I succumbed to peer pressure You probably just took good sound advice. Resilience is our ability to adapt and bounce back when things don't go as planned unlike stubborn people who let ego get in the way sometimes.

I don't think it does any good to look backwards in life. The windshield is 40 times bigger than the rearview mirror. Exactly. The choices were made for a reason with no way to look into the future.
