I was just looking at Gander Mntn's site for a cheap coyote call to keep in my hunting pack and noticed they sell squirrel calls. Anyone try one? I didn't realize they even made them.

I have a rubber bulb type squirrel barker and I terrorize the critters at home and at the lease.

I used one many years ago. It was the rubber bulb type also. It works to locate them. If you get good enough at it they will bark back at you.

In the spring time, the distress one works well to make them mad and come towards your location. Use it while shaking a tree, they will think an eagle got a baby and will come to investigate.

All of the above, plus you can practice at the local park or your back yard.

Google "using quarters for a squirrel call", a 50 cent call and you get to keep your change. up
