There seems to be a few Mills County hunters on here....post your pics. I want to see how my area of the county compares. we are low fenced and corn fed. no protein.

Gross scored 146 B&C

I used to hunt just north of Zephyr not far from the zebra farm. The bucks in that area have GREAT genetics! Man I miss that area. I saw a low fence 160" 12 point that I could not shoot because the 8 does around my ground blind busted me. I still have night mares over that. hammer

I started this thread with a picture of my Northern Mills County buck. The following were taken in south western Hamilton county. same area.

The top buck scored mid 120's....the bottom 2 pictures are the same buck....scored 133. I killed the bottom buck opening morning 06. The top buck was killed in the same stand opening morning 07. Pretty good stand i'd say.

2 other 130+ bucks have been killed on that property and 1 140+

about genetics....we had a 2.5 yr old 10 point who later turned into a 3.5 yr old 12 point. He was beautiful. We think my dad saw him at age 5.5. Dad said the deer was 160+ but he got too excited and missed. It would have been the first buck my old man killed in 12 years.

The bottom deer sure looks bigger than 133". Was that net or gross?
