Any one hunt in Leon County? A couple of friends and I have hunted in Centerville for the past two years with mixed results.

Curious how folks have fared the last two years and what they think this year will be like.

Loc: Franklin, Tx Hunt in Panola ...
Lot's of deer in Leon Co.
I've hunted south of Centerville at Fort Boggy SP and had some good hunts there.
Driving down Hwy 79, they are all on the side of the roads, out in pastures, just about everywhere I look, I'll see a deer.

Yes, there's plenty of them and at least this season, those on private property can take their antlerless deer during the 4 'doe days' at Thanksgiving (Thanksgiving Day and the Friday, Saturday & Sunday immediately following Thankgiving) without a permit, but they still must be tagged off your license.
